How has the proposal changed?

How will it affect us living in Lowry?

Lowry United Neighborhoods (LUN) first brought City Planner Andrew Webb to its Jan. 2020 quarterly meeting to present on proposed changes to the Denver Zoning Code, referred to as the “group living” proposals. Since that presentation, the 200 pages of code changes have undergone many updates, and at our Jan. 26th meeting, Senior City Planner Andrew Webb and Councilwoman Sawyer will discuss the latest Code Amendments, and how they impact Lowry.  The proposed code changes will be voted on by Denver City Council on Feb. 8, 2021.

Denver operates under two different zoning codes and much of original or Legacy Lowry development (Park Heights and areas east of Quebec) is zoned under the old code.  Boulevard One and some business areas of Lowry have new code zoning. The impacts of the proposed Zoning amendments on each area will be discussed.

To sign up  for the virtual meeting next Tuesday, Jan. 26th, at 7 PM, please pre-register at this link: or scan QR Code at bottom of page.

Thanks to Councilwoman Sawyer’s District 5 Office for making the Webinar link available!
